We finally made it. It took Geoff and his dad two 11 hour days of driving to get here. It only took Geoff's mom and I a couple of hours to get here. Our commute was much better. Unfortunately, our house wasn't completely finished, so we stayed in a hotel until our house was done. We just parked the Penske truck in the driveway and cruised around San Antonio in the Subaru. Geoff and his dad unloaded half of the truck into our garage, and left the rest in the truck. Luckily, we didn't have to take the Penske back for a few more days. Geoff's dad had to fly out the next day (Sunday) after his mom and I arrived. He had to get back to work and to Geoff's little brother, Ian. However, his parents wanted to take us to the Cheesecake Factory before his dad left to celebrate my birthday, and I wasn't about to say no to that idea!
