On Friday I went to the doctor for my 28 week appointment. The doctor was asking me all the normal questions when she said "Wait, did you say he or she?" I quickly replied that our baby is a boy, and I said he. She showed me the chart and everything had been labeled FEMALE. My heart jumped, but I had seen the ultrasound and it is ever so evident that we're having a boy. I didn't have my pictures with me, they are at home on the fridge. So I lucked out and got to have another quick ultrasound, because the doctor was worried I had it wrong. I of course was THRILLED!!! His features were even more evident. He still is very obviously a boy. He is healthy and strong. I got a really cute profile picture of him (as well as a spread eagle one)!

oh scary, I would flip out if my doctor now turned around and told me I was having a boy instead of the girl he told we are having...lol what a funny story!!
Oooohh, lucky! I would have loved to have another ultrasound! Couldn't you just stay in there and watch forever?

wahoo!!! that is so awesome. i am so darn excited for you. he looks lke a cutie :)i really hope i will get to see you sometime over thanksgiving. we will be in vegas but i will die if i don't get to see you and talk baby together. darn verizon, i so wish i had more minutes, we totally need to talk again!
Isn't it amazing to see how your little one is developing? That's quite the shock to be told your baby is the opposite sex of what you originally thought. I've decided most of it is guess-work and you never truly know what you are going to have until he or she is laying on your chest for the first time. SO FUN!!
He definitely looks like his mommy.
It's hard being the ninth person to post a comment because it seems all my comments have already been made. Alas...Lucky you on the second ultra sound. I, like others above, would have loved to have had a second ultra sound. I still can't believe that ultra sounds work so well. Just with sound waves they can see a picture of your baby inside of you, how crazy.
at least you got another ultrasound...i would have been so worried!! man that is qute the scare :) hope you are doing well...you look cute!!!!!
It's not nice to scare mother's like that. I'm glad you got another peek at him. Handsome little profile! How fun! Boys are great!
How fun!! I accidently got a second ultrasound too. It was so exciting. Do you guys have a name picked out? Jace is right, you will LOVE being a mom, nothing compares.
That is so funny. I would be freaking out if they showed me FEMALE. At least they did get it right the first time!
