Spring- which feels like Summer -has arrived and it's time to whip the yard into shape. We had gorgeous weather all last week, and so Geoff and I both really enjoyed working in the yard. We fertilized the grass (Mom, you'd be so proud), planted new flowers, weeded and most important of all.....FINISHED THE BACKYARD! Wahoo!!!
These are the bougainvilleas I planted up above our "lovely" wall. According to the gardening book my Dad gave me, they'll be beautifully draping down in a year or so!
Ta Daaa!!! I can just picture the soccer games that are going to take place between Hugh and Geoff. It may be small, but it's our own!

I'm excited to get my yard done. However, it snowed yesterday. It is yet to be warm enough to even put fertilizer down. So, we must wait. I love your flowers!
Ann-Marie that is so fun! There is still snow here so looking at these pictures gives me hope! You guys are so talented!
You guys did a great job with your yard! I love the flowers. I think that is one of the things that makes me want a house the most. To have flower beds!
So fun! Both the room and the yard! You inspire me to get out and work on our not-so-pretty landscaping job! :) Hope all is going well!

Impressive! That's a lot of work! You guys will love that this summer.
The yard looks so great. I didn't even know you were putting grass in. I'm so jealous of all your beautiful flowers and weather. It still feels like winter here!
Oh Ann-Marie your house is so beautiful!
