a-maz-ing

Yesterday afternoon Geoff and I set off to Houston. It was about a 3 hour drive from San Antonio. It was my first time there, and it was beautiful! Addison was so kind to host Hugh for his first sleepover, so Geoff and I were all alone! Wow, I honestly had forgotten what that was like.
We pulled into a parking spot across from the Toyota center and paid our $.75 and were set for the night! Wahoo!!! We ate dinner down town at a little Chinese restaurant and Geoff actually got to practice his Cantonese. The waitress kept trying to get me to say words too, but I couldn't even hear the difference in the tones! Ha!
We walked, or more like ran (we were so excited), into the Toyota center to watch & listen to COLDPLAY!!!

If you know Coldplay's music you would have LOVED this concert. If you actually like their stuff you would have been on cloud nine. But if you are a true lover of their music, you would have arrived at the Pearly Gates! It was AMAZING! By far the best concert Geoff and I have ever been to.

They were fantastic performers. Chris Martin thanked the crowd and so politely apologized for making anyone miss a night of homework or being late to school or work the next morning due to their performance. It was all the fan recognition Geoff needed!

We pulled into our driveway at about 2:20 a.m.. We were exhausted but so happy from the great performance. It was a-maz-ing! If you get a chance go. Or call us and we'll go for you!

That sounds like so much fun and quite the night out on the town...even if you were way up past your bed time and late for school! :)

Yay! how fun to get away without kids! Bayles is just the wigglin-est kid ever so I think that's why he started walking so soon. He started around 9 months but really got going at 10 months. Let's just say it's not as easy to go to the store anymore.

Thanks:) We're excited too! I got the vest and shirt and pants at target during the spring. I don't know if they have them anymore, but they always have some of those kinds of sets that look good for sundays. Good luck finding something. Little guy will look cute no matter what:)

I love the pix. Houston looks so cool, did you take that pic of the city? I didn't realize that Geoff got to speak cantonese, how fun. And I love the last photo of the two of you! Hugh can spend the night anytime!
