Dad's day off

Today was the long awaited, and much anticipated DAY OFF for Geoff! All weekend I thought about what we could go and do together. I'm starting to feel up to doing things, and couldn't let today pass by. We decided to not only start the day off with Einstein's Bagels (yes, they just came to S.A.!!!), but we headed over to the Zoo. It was a blast! Hughie loved it.

Just look at his face---doesn't he scream excitement? Okay, no he doesn't, but if the camera was put away he was all smiles!

I am glad that everything worked out with the zoo. I am happy to hear that you are feeling better! Eating breakfast at Einstein Bagels is the best way to start off the day! Kevin and I have been there a few times and we are so excited they are here!

PS - I tried the tortilla soup recipe you posted and it was delicious!

1. Hugh's haircut is so cute!
2. Einstein Bagels? Where? I have always thought that San Antonio is lacking in the bagel department.
3. Glad you are feeling better
4. Glad to hear your hubby had a day off.

Aren't days off the best?! Looks like a very fun day...despite Hugh's excited face when the camera comes out! I continue to get the updates from Merrie and I'm so glad to hear you're feeling a bit better.

Sounds like a perfect day! The pictures are cute -- even if Hugh isn't "smiling" :)

Every time I see Hugh, I'm shocked at how big he is. Why is it that I imagine other people's children staying the same age but mine are constantly growing.

He's so cute!
