St. Patty's Day Parade

Or if you're Hugh, it's the "Green Parade". We went down to join in the festivities today, and it was soooo much fun! I love parades. Yes, I do. Especially when the weather is perfect, there is a slight breeze, and you're with friends! Thanks Jen, for coming with me.
Forget water aerobics, when I'm an old lady I'm going to take up baton twirling like these gals!
THE SWORD! Oh how we love swords around this house (and arrows and wolves). This man was a hit, and no, he did NOT smile.
And who doesn't get a kick out of a dancing leprechaun? Now I'm on the hunt for some fun ideas on what tricks and treats the leprechauns can play on Hugh on Thursday! Does anyone do anything fun for their kids?

My girls love to build leprechaun traps! We put them outside and the next morning when they run to check their traps they're always disappointed to find that even though the trap had closed, they didn't catch him! But always super excited when they instead find that he left them a gold coin! (The Sacagawea gold dollar coin)

I hope I want to strut myself when I'm a senior citizen! They looked better than those "cheerleaders."

Oh that's fun. I've never been to a St. Patty's day parade. I'll put it on the list for next year!

Look how festive you are! :) Remember when St. Pattys day consisted of Lucky Charm's and green milk at school. . . . that I did go into Smiths (wearing a ballet leotard and tutu) to buy for us. I kind of miss those days!

Can hardly wait to hear about your St. Pattys day match!
