Halloween'd Our Hearts Out

Halloween was celebrated and celebrated this year. I was in charge of the ward Halloween Party. So I had witches and goblins rolling through my mind all month long.  Picking out a costume was exciting and serious for Hugh. He went through every scenario. Then he found the power ranger suit and was sold. Graham was just thrilled to be a growling dinosaur. I went as a flight doctor. Geoff, well errr he just washed up before he had to start his shift in a few hours. :)

I was really pleased with all the friends and ward members that came. I don't think anything is as fun as kids in costume!!
On a side note.  Hugh won "cutest costume".  He smiled and took the trophy.  I think everyone in the entire room was as confused as he was.  The next morning he said, "Mom, a power ranger isn't cute...it is cool."  We never brought up the fact that Graham was supposed to win the "cute" award. We just let it slide and had a good laugh. :)

Halloween Day Geoffrey had off, and so he got to come with me to put on Hughie's class party. They were fabulous and like I said--kids in costume are my favorite!
Hugh's teacher, Ms. Laura, was kind enough to let Graham join in the school parade. The boys loved it. :)

And when it was time to get dressed and go trick-or-treating...the boys had zero patience for pictures. So this is all I got!

I have to admit....I'm already looking forward to next year!!
