Philly Day #2

"Sleeping" in the hotel turned out to be a disaster. So we went swimming nice and early and were had already been up for HOURS and HOURS by the time we left the hotel at nine. However we went in pursuit of a delicious breakfast, and let the rain stop. :)

We started out at the Visitor's Center, and got to walk the gorgeous neighborhoods in downtown.

We saw the Liberty Bell. But when the boys started swinging the rope that is to keep AWAY everyone away we knew it was time to exit the museum. :)

Geoffrey especially loved the architecture and historical feel it had.

We walked and walked and walked. Considering how little sleep the boys had, they were troopers.  We explored the Reading Terminal for quite some time. We loved all the shops and eateries and wished we could sample everything!!  Once we were done, and Graham was begging to take a nap, Geoff had us jump in a cab and head back to the car. The loved the taxi!

And they were zonked out before we were even on the freeway!

Fun fun memory!!
