We have been counting down to June 29th for a long long time! We had tickets bought, arrangements made, bags packed, and excitement at an all time high. We woke up at 3:00, to be ready for the shuttle, just to get the ticket counter and be denied. Flat out denied! To make a long story short, our flight to San Diego was delayed 3.5 hours and would cause us to miss our flight onto Honolulu. After over an hour of phone calls and working with the agent we had a very delayed flight to San Diego for today and tomorrow the trip would continue onward to paradise.
It was a horrible flight. We sat on the tarmac for over an hour (waiting a pilot for over an hour) with more turbulence and vomiting than we have ever experienced. It was horrid.
On an up note... Once we got our legs back under us, we took a taxi to Seaport Village and enjoyed a delicious dinner and sat and gazed at the ocean we wished we had crossed!
