Dad's day off

We love when Geoff has the day off! Today we soaked up every minute of having him around because he works the next six days.
We started off the morning visiting the Farmers Market. I want to go every week--it was fabulous! We love trying the local fare--the boys some fruit popscicles, Dad a waffle that graham took over, and we ended with a coconut/pineapple smoothie--that should have been given an award!!!! Yum!
Most importantly we bought a fresh one of these:
We all felt like we were melting--so we cooled down and ran the regular grocery store/gas station errands....then came home and all took 2 1/2 hour naps! I feel like we are finally adjusting to the six hour time difference, but still trying to catch up on missed sleep. The boys slept for the first time to 6am today. But we were all still tired today.
Late afternoon we headed back to Ko'olina beach and tried cove #3 this time.
These calm little lagoons are perfect for the boys. And the water felt sooooo warm! We played and swam and dug in the sand. It was one of those evenings I want to always remember when everyone is content and happy and being together makes everything just right. This has already been an amazing experience for our little family.
To top the night off, we got to use a gift card Geoff's program had given him and went out to dinner. There was no line at 6 pm, so island eating must be later. It worked perfect for us and our not so patient boys. :)
Graham loved it so much he hugged the left over box the whole way home. :)
And with that all said, I will now say "good night!"
