Day 2

Today was recovery day. Geoff had a half day of orientation at the hospital. The boys had gotten up at 4 and by the time we dropped G off and hospital at 7:30 they were exhausted. They both went down for long naps. 

After naps Hugh learned how to play chess and checkers. He was in heaven. 

We did venture out at night to try Bubbies. This ice cream joint had been recommended to us by several people. They are known for their mochi--ice cream wrapped in a rice/sugar mixture. (Geoff is holding up 3 in the bowl). They were delicious and I am sure we will be going back!
