Today could not have been more beautiful! I have heard everyone talk of the cooling temperatures and tried to envision myself feeling it-but today it was actually a reality. Okay, yesterday AND today. Yesterday it was stormy...today it was chilly and gorgeous. Both were wonderful to me. Yesterday I actually felt cold! It was fantastic. I was filling the car up with gas and was chilled from the wind-I just stood there and relished in it.
My mom and I spent the morning together cramming in as many last minute things as we could. She continued to tease me that I was making up the heat and humidity, because we've had great weather since they came in town last week. I am sad to have them gone, but excited to see everyone in both our families in just 4 weeks from today! :)
To top the day off, Geoffrey and I got to spend an hour on the tennis court this evening. We haven't played for a couple of months, so it felt great to get out and swing my racket.
Yes, I think I could get used to Texas weather after all.
(At least in the non-summer months)

i'm jealous. while i was at my parents house in CO we got 6 inches of snow! i'd rather live in texas any day :)
I'm glad it is cooling down a little for you. Sounds like you had a great time with your parents. I'm glad they were able to come and visit!
I have to agree with Nat....I'm already sick of the Wisconsin weather ( 14 months of winter!)
How fun you get to be with your family. Congrats on the boy. Little boys are the best.
how fun that you got to see your parents! but now that you are spoiled with texas weather, utah is going to be freezing when you visit!
