Geoffrey has been plotting all week what he wanted to do with his pumpkin-he decided to create the globe. So when Saturday finally rolled around, I found him printing off a world map to use as his pumpkin blue print. I'm sure for those of you that know Geoff, can picture his excitement at this task. He sent me looking for just the right carving tools (which I teased him about and then ended up loving) to make sure he could get the correct angle to carve every detail, including the boot of Italy.
Here we are before we began to carve. Geo's thrilled with the nice round 'canvas' he has to work on.
Work in progress.
