Ward Halloween Bash

Last night was the ward Party. They did a great job, and it was really fun to see everyone's costumes. Going to the party last night helped ease my longing for a 1st grade classroom. Halloween is always so fun with children. Hugh did surprisingly well in leaving his costume on the entire evening. He was past tired, and had been begging to go to sleep before the party even started. I knew once we got him to the party he'd enjoy looking around and watching the comings and goings of everyone. We originally painted his cheeks and nose, but by the time we walked downstairs he had smeared it across his entire face and into his hair. So we revamped with just a nose. He refused to smile...he was in a tired daze. So enjoy the smile-less photos and we'll keep our fingers crossed we can get a big grin on Friday night! :)

Ann-Marie,
I will take lots of great pictures tomorrow. . . maybe Shar will come as a vampire, as our theme is bugs this year. . . but you never know what she will show up in! :)

The kids are mile high! Should be fun, and I can hardly wait to parade around in front of the parents. Did you forget how fun that is?

What a cute little Clown!! I can't believe he is almost a year old.

I love the story about the stairs! It is good to get them started young on stairs so that they don't fall too much later.
