I grew up with a Mom that strapped on our bathing suits and sent us outside as soon as the rain began to fall. I have passed along my love for the rain to my two boys + Geoff. We've had some great storms in the two weeks we've been in this house and Hughie and Graham love to go puddle jumping.

Love it! I was telling someone the other day that we used to play in our swimsuits in the rain (we even had a community "pond" where the water would gather to about 3 inches deep that we would swim in). . . . anyway, I was telling them about it and they looked at me like I was crazy. Glad to know that I'm not the only one who has this childhood memory. Truth be told, sometimes I still want to put on my swimsuit and just run outside when it is raining, but I don't. :)
I'm so glad you guys made it. I think I need to go take a bath to get my blood pressure to go down after reading your traveling adventure. I'm excited for you guys and jealous of your rain!
