Massachusetts Life Begins

We are alive and faring well.  We were greeted with GORGEOUS blooms, towering trees and lovely cold weather. After two weeks of roaming from hotel to house to house, we've finally settled into our "temporary" two month house.  It's been great to have little space our own and to tell Hughie "yes, THIS is your house."  Graham is appreciating the naps. Hugh has enjoyed the return of his own bed.  Geoff and I are grateful to finally "be here".  And no longer wonder what it's going to be like.
We all are loving the exploring.  We took the boys on a walk this morning to the corner donut shop. It was great fun, in p.j.'s and all.  Right now we are in Rutland, which is about 30 minutes from UMASS hospital-and why we'll be moving again in two months.  Commute is not an option for Geoff.  But it is a beautiful, quite, quaint community.  I'm unfortunately falling in love with this house too.  It feels gigantic, and is surround by GREEN flora!
Which meant we needed to get mowing the lawn STAT. Geoff was all over the research and purchase of his own machine.
If we need Graham out of lawn mowing way, we saddle him up with slice after slice of watermelon.  He is more than a fan.  He is die hard.
We got our library cards yesterday, so I caught Hugh having a little white trash reading time.
The owners left behind their water/sand table and boy am I grateful!  This is providing hours of fun daily.  YEA!!  This house has a great TREX deck that is really big, and it is perfect because I can watch the boys just play and play. Please note the long sleeve and long pants and it's June.  What a welcome reprieve.
Now you may be asking yourself two questions:
1. Why are these pictures such poor quality?  The answer is because they're just from my cell and I'm not sporting a fancy smancy phone like the rest of you.
2. Why aren't I in any of the pictures? Because I'm the mom, and when are mom's ever in pictures?
:)

The pictures look good to me, even if they are from your cell. It's so fun getting situated huh?

Enjoy the cooler weather!

Sounds like a slice of heaven - or watermelon if you're Graham. First thing I noted after the beautiful flowers were the long sleeves - and shorts.

Glad you can be semi-settled for awhile.

Yay for getting (temporarily) settled! And by the way, I think Hughie is so far from white trash...maybe if you let him grow out a little rat's tail or something. :)
