Heaven that is. It is just shy of two hours away from us, in York, Maine! It is my new favorite.
We loaded the car up with a stack of books, beach gear, and lots of snacks and headed off.
I wish I could describe how beautiful it was. It was superb. Literally. I am trying to devise a plan as to how I can convince our families to relocate!
The tide was low when we arrived, so there was tons and tons of sand for lots of playing in. With loads of waves to jump over.
Once we were beached out, we drove 5 minutes down the coast to the Nubble Lighthouse. It is arguably the most photographed light house in the states. It is so pretty!
It is surrounded by huge boulders which is wayyyy too much fun for a 3 year old!
Right next to the light house is a famous restaurant that serves locally raised blueberry pie. We split a slice and the boys gobbled it up tooooo fast!
We liked it so much, I think we're heading back on Geoff's first day off! :)

Its true what Nicole said. Every time you post, I say "see Rich, San Antonio is hot pile of poop!" LoL I've been trying to convince him of that for 4 1/2 years though now.
It looks like you guys are living in a VERY pretty place! Looks like the up where you guys is the perfect place to spend 5 or more years! Seems like a lot of family friendly places to go and do. I would SO love to take Kenzlie & Eddie with me and Rich go and see these places all the time. You are SUPER LUCKY!!!!
