Today I sat in a circle, surrounded by beauty. It was one of those moments when you realize your eyes aren't seeing things through your own eyes, but through God's eyes. To the right of me was a friend, who is originally from AZ. To the left was a young gal from Montana, next to her were two women from Ghana. Next to her was a woman from Brazil. Next to her was a woman from Mexico. (all of these women being in the states less than ten years). Continuing the circle is a super short, and smart Worcester gal. Next to her was a beautiful, silver haired, 89 year old...who talked of missing her spouse who has been gone for 20 years now. And the last two in the circle, one Puerto Rican, the other from Connecticut.
I was so struck with the unity and LOVE I felt. It was beautiful to listen to the THICK THICK accents and to realize that we are all on this journey through life together.

I love the YW, but sometimes I miss the Relief Society and I needed this reminder that i am still a part of this great unity. Love it!
Well said. We all need experiences like this.
Beautiful Ann Marie! Was the Montana girl from Bozeman?
I love this post - I thought the same thing sitting in my RS on Sunday. Amazing women from all over the world.
Also, I love LOVE your hair cut - absolutely darling! Sounds like you guys are all settled and loving it...yay!
