The boys and I took a road trip to Virginia to see the Whitings. I thought it was going to be a surprise, but lucky for me it was their Landlord that greeted me when we pulled up (Linds was at church) and he filled me in that she knew all along that I was coming. Skunk. Geoff had a week of night shifts, and Phillip is on Head and Neck, so I knew Lindsey and I could both disappear and no one would miss us. :)
We went to the zoo.
Fell in love with Virginia Beach. It is a good 20 degrees warmer than up here in Mass!
Spent a day at the pool/splash park. Their YMCA pools are amazing.
Went out to eat just the two of us!
Plus Lindsey gave us all hair cuts/colors.
I couldn't of had more fun. It was SO. MUCH. FUN.
My boys traveled amazingly.
We LOVED driving over Chesapeake Bay. Especially at 5am, when we were headed back north. The sun was rising, and it was so picture perfect.
When can we come back??
